Language

Just wondering how my readers are faring on the issue of language. All the Dutch names and all that. I've put most of my pictures on the map at Flickr.com (not all), which gives you a rough idea where everything is. Basically, you're looking at the area north of Arnhem, which lies 65 miles east southeast of Amsterdam.

Guido, I must have some Dutch in me I seem to be able to translate most of your titles and subtitles. Pictures are great. I can't believe how differant the scenery is in Holland compared to Scotland. That was some bike ride you had. Bill

I'm reading all the titles but I can't pronounce all the words. I'm afraid if I tried to pronounce them, my tongue would get all twisted up.  I'll have to show your pictures to Bob however, because he's been to Amsterdam.   Linda in WA

I stumble along trying to sound out the words.  You'd probably cover your ears in pain, but hey, I'm trying!

I've been in Amsterdam, but don't remember all the places I visited.  Most of the names are strange to me.... but the pics are just as beautiful as I remember.
