A few images from around the village. Those who read this journal a year ago will be familiar with the general scenery. It is very green, and it's the light green of early spring. The beech leaves will soon turn a darker hue of green as spring turns into summer.
It is great to see how the trees all green up..When we were up in Scotland last week it was interesting to see how far behind they were compared with down South..I do love the shapes of your buildings so much nicer than the square boxes we mostly see around the UK. !! not so sure about the beatles though !! Love Sybil xx
This is the archive of The Shell Gallery blog, which was active between 2008 and 2018. It is dedicated to the memory of my mother, who died in May 2008, and to that of my father, who passed away in August 2022. The Watch Tower stands to the north, overlooking the open Heathlands
The Shell Gallery also refers to the island of Vlieland, which has zillions of shells on its beaches.
