Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas from Holland. Last night I participated in the Watchnight service in the local church. The building was packed out at 9.30pm. It went very well, and I was warmly welcomed in the choir's midst. This morning, I returned to church for the Christmas Day service, in which I once more sang in the choir. A professional singer, a bass, sang a French Christmas hymn.

Having returned home, I'm awaiting the arrival of my sisters and family who will join my father and myself for a Christmas meal this afternoon. Don't overdo it with the turkey, if that's what you're having yourself.

I love to hear the church choirs at Christmas. I'm glad you could participate. Enjoy your day with family.

How nice you had the chance to sing with the choir. I echo Ma, I love to hear choirs.

No, I didn't overdo the turkey only because I am now an avowed vegetarian so I ate pasta and sauce, no meatballs or ham. I was interested to hear that you sang in the choir at home. I love to hear about people singing. I always think, oh good. Too bad about the camera. Mine served me well at home. NOw I take closeups. I like closeups. I suppose taking to a camera shop cheaper than buying a new one at this stage. Hope it is nothing too serious. I would really really miss my camera now. Oh yes, I now have a blog list and Atlantic Lines is featured there. I love those things. Gerry
