Weather forecast

You're promised a sunny day, so off we went at 11 am for a long walk. Well, we hadn't left the woods before the clouds pulled across from the west. Didn't see the sun after that, which made for a cool walk to the Imbosch, 6 miles away. Visibility was not great, only just 2 miles or so. Pictures are therefore a bit hazy. I am currently uploading them, so give it about half an hour to go and have a look. Annotations will follow tomorrow.

I'll take "cool."  It's so hot here again today....I feel like a piece of wilted lettuce.  I need to mow both the front & back yards and shampoo the carpet but my living room is 95* and that's too hot to do much of anything. Please send me cool......Linda, wilting in Washington  http://journals.aol.com/lsfp1960/LindasWorld/

I'd take those cool hazy days!  Actually, if it was like that every day, I'd be happy....

It's not so bad walking in cooler weather, I did another South Downs walk on Sunday and it was fairly cool but dry. Where's our summer gone, you obviously haven't got it! Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/
