Went for a 3 hour walk round the green parts of Arnhem this afternoon - as per usual, just after we returned, the heavens opened. You can view the pictures here. To whet your appetite, here is a wee video of a waterfall.

This is the archive of The Shell Gallery blog, which was active between 2008 and 2018. It is dedicated to the memory of my mother, who died in May 2008, and to that of my father, who passed away in August 2022. 
The Watch Tower stands to the north, overlooking the open Heathlands
The Shell Gallery also refers to the island of Vlieland, which has zillions of shells on its beaches.

Well the weather was quite nice here in London today. Was sunny during the day and then we had rain........ very heavy, it them subsided and we had a terrific downpour around 10 minutes ago....sounds very quiet again now. The temperature has dropped too ;o(

beautiful! i love waterfalls, so peacefull, i am going to see some in cornwall in a few weeks, I love the cliffs in cornwall too, blows away the cobwebs, restores peace and harmony. TY mrs t xx
